A prompt to start from

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or the agent you use, then review its plan:

Read https://resellerhq.com/llms.txt and the OpenAPI document at https://resellerhq.com/api/openapi.json.

Then add ResellerHQ to this project:
1. Read the API key from the RHQ_API_KEY environment variable.
2. Create a customer.
3. Check the wholesale price, then order a phone number for that customer, sending an Idempotency-Key.
4. Add a webhook handler that verifies the Standard Webhooks signature and handles number.message.received.

Test in the sandbox first, and show me the plan before you write code.

Good habits for an agent

  • Give it a rhq_test_ key. A sandbox key cannot spend real money, whatever the agent does.
  • Have it send an Idempotency-Key on every request that spends money.
  • Have it branch on the error code in a response, not on the message text.

Talking to an account directly, with no code

An assistant that can call tools rather than write code against the API can read a ResellerHQ account directly over the Model Context Protocol: the wallet, customers, domains, numbers, licences, orders, sales and invoices, authenticated with the same API key.
